Finn's Firsts

I want to capture as many of Finn's "firsts" as I can. Some will be significant (first smile) and some not so much (first Starbucks).

Here are the firsts of Finn's Firsts:
First car ride. This was from the hospital and he slept like a champ the whole way home.
Finn's first walk. He did not like this first walk and made sure we, as well as the whole neighborhood, knew it. We made it to the end of our street and turned around. I'm happy to say he now loves our walks.

Finn's first time downtown Charleston. Rachel came in town on Labor Day so we took Finn downtown for a morning walk, followed by...
Finn's first Starbucks experience. I He loved my his first of many coffee breaks together. A very important sidenote, this was my first Pumpkin Spice Latte this year.
Finn's first grilling of meat. They started early with father and son bonding over an open flame while grilling a juicy ribeye. Thankfully no toes were burned and the steak was delish. Good job boys!
Finn's first beach trip. We went to watch daddy surf, but the breeze and ocean noise put Finn to sleep quickly.
Finn's first bath. He loves his baths and I do too. This is one of my favorite pictures.

And here it is, the most coveted of all the firsts. His first...
SMILE! ...taken from the back of his head...at my friend Amy. It was captured nonetheless and I'm thankful for that.

We are heading to Greenville this weekend and will hopefully have more "firsts" to share. BlogBooster-The most productive way for mobile blogging. BlogBooster is a multi-service blog editor for iPhone, Android, WebOs and your desktop

Little Man in a Big World

I Caved...

Yes, I have caved. I have given in after a long time of opposing the idea of having my own blog. Life has changed after having a baby, and one of these changes is a changed mind toward blogging. Instead of constantly emailing family and friends, it only makes sense to have a one-stop shop for our little Finn's updates, right? Plus, my friend Amy said it's like having a scrapbook of memories. These seemed like good reasons to do this.

Ok, so now that I feel justified I will make you three (hopeful) promises for this blog:
1. Entries will be short
2. Entries will be updated regularly
3. Entries will have pictures

Now we have some catching up to do. Finn turned one month on September 23rd. Here are some snapshots of the past month. BlogBooster-The most productive way for mobile blogging. BlogBooster is a multi-service blog editor for iPhone, Android, WebOs and your desktop
